Salar de Tara, few days ago 3 friends and I decided to go to this place at San Pedro de Atacama. This place is located 5 hours from San Pedro de Atacama and 5000 meters above sea level. They are called Monks or Sentinels because the rock formation resembles a monk.
The road is difficult, but it was worth it.
Since we are the only Chileans who have practiced Astrophotography in this place, and the Sky is really incredible, because have not anything light pollution.
